Where is Abbottabad Diagnostic Center?
The centre is in Eman Plaza, near Shafiq Medical Centre, in Mandian, Abbottabad. It is a tall grey building with a large lit ADC sign across the top and on the roof, and EMAAN written vertically down one side (the address is registered as Eman Plaza), which makes it straightforward to find in the evening. Use the map on this page for the exact pin, or ask a driver for "ADC, Shafiq Medical Centre ke paas, Mandian".
ADC reception is on 0300 111 4357 if you need to ask about the building itself. For appointments with Dr. Muhammad Ali Khan, use 0315 5563036.
What happens at this clinic?
A consultation here is mostly a conversation. Dr. Muhammad Ali Khan takes a detailed history in your own words, examines you, checks your blood pressure and goes through every report you have brought. If a test is needed you will hear what it involves and what each possible result would mean before you agree to it.
This is the afternoon session, from two o'clock until six. The evening belongs to IDC Abbottabad, which runs 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the same fee, so book there instead if you cannot get away before evening. Between the two clinics Dr. Muhammad Ali Khan is available from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, six days a week.
Which conditions are seen here?
The full range of general and interventional cardiology. In practice that means chest pain and angina, high blood pressure, heart failure, rhythm problems, high cholesterol, and follow-up after a heart attack or a stent.
Because ADC is a diagnostic centre, several investigations can be arranged in the same building. Procedures such as angiography and angioplasty with stenting are done at the appropriate facility after your consultation, not in the clinic room.
Booking and getting here
Call or WhatsApp 0315 5563036, or use the appointments page. Consultations here are by appointment only, so book before you set out rather than arriving and hoping for a place. Booking ahead also keeps the wait short, which matters for elderly patients and for anyone travelling any distance.
If reaching Abbottabad is difficult, an online video consultation runs Monday to Saturday, 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, for Rs. 2,500. It suits report reviews, follow-ups and second opinions.
One thing to be clear about. A clinic appointment is for problems that can wait. If you have chest pressure, a cold sweat or sudden breathlessness right now, do not book, call 1122 or go straight to DHQ Hospital Abbottabad Emergency.
What happens at this clinic?

Consultations with Dr. Muhammad Ali Khan. On-site diagnostics to be confirmed. Diagnostic tests and procedures such as echocardiography, ETT and angiography are arranged by Dr. Muhammad Ali Khan at the appropriate facility after your consultation.
