Medical disclaimer
Last reviewed: by Dr. Muhammad Ali Khan, FCPS Cardiology
The content on this website is educational information, not medical advice. It cannot examine you, see your reports, or know your history, so it can never replace a consultation with a qualified doctor.
What this site's content is, and what it is not
Articles, service guides and condition guides on this site are written to help patients in Abbottabad and across Pakistan understand heart disease in plain language. They are reviewed by Dr. Muhammad Ali Khan, Consultant Cardiologist, and carry a visible "last reviewed" date. They are general in nature: nothing on this site is a diagnosis, a prescription, or treatment advice for any individual person.
No doctor–patient relationship
Reading this website, submitting the appointment form, or sending a message does not create a doctor–patient relationship. That relationship begins with an actual consultation, either at a clinic or by scheduled video appointment.
Emergencies
If you have chest pain now, severe breathlessness, fainting, or any symptom that frightens you, do not use this website, the booking form or WhatsApp. Call 1122 (Rescue 1122) or go straight to the DHQ Hospital Abbottabad emergency department, or the nearest hospital Emergency to you.
Medicines
Never start, stop or change the dose of any medicine based on something you read here. Medicine changes, including timing adjustments for Ramadan fasting, must be made by your own doctor who knows your case.
